Question by Tim nick: I know it?s tough out there, specially in the Real Estate business. How about for new agents?
I know it?s bad, but in the sametime lots of agents are leaving the real estate business? don?t you think it might be a good idea to get into it now?
I live in the greater Boston area please give me you opinions
should I join a broker or put my license to sleep for a while?

If you?re a REALTOR, you might want to check with your local board to see what the attrition rate is now for your area. Also check your closed sales to active/pending listing stats for the areas you want to work.
It is possible that now is a good time to start out in real estate. If you have enough money to carry you for at least 6 months, you could start to build your business and be ready when the market starts an upswing.
If you must start earning immediately, it might be wiser to either partner up with an established real estate team or get a *day job* for right now. As you know, there are expenses to be a real estate agent even if you do not generate any income.
Good luck.
