After the launch of Optimus G and its revamped Google branded Nexus 4 smartphones, the South Korean handset vendor, LG has no plans to sit behind and watch the launch of upcoming heavyweights of Samsung and HTC.
It seems like that the company will not relax with its achieved laurels, but will make more attempts to beef up their presence in the Android smartphone market segment as another handset has been spotted in benchmark tests.
This can be said, as recently a TechKiddy report has surfaced online, which has revealed that LG might be working on a new monster Android handset.
Referring source as a GL Benchmarks test result, the report states that a handset dubbed by the name of LG F240K has appeared on the benchmark test and seems to be equipped with extremely high end features to counter other mammoth Android offerings in the market.
LG F240K ? What Features to Expect?
The report has claimed citing the benchmark results that the upcoming LG handset will come packed with 1080p display of unknown size, which is 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Further, LG F240K is said to be powered by 1.5GHz Quad Core APQ8064 Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and Adreno 320 GPU. Also, the smartphone will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. The other details of the handset remain a mystery at this point of time.
Well at this point of time, HTC has scored all the spotlight at the Android ramp after Galaxy Note 2, with the recent launch of Droid DNA in US and J Butterfly in Japan with a 5 inch display of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 4.1 jelly Bean OS.
Hence, it is quite clear that along with South Korean sibling Samsung, HTC also will come up as a big rival to the upcoming LG F240K handset.
